Scott Tilden McAfee died July 3, 2009, in Waco. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, in the parlor of First Baptist Church of Waco, 500 Webster, Clay St. entrance. He is survived by his three children of Belton; his father, Brent McAfee; mother, Doris McAfee, both of Odessa; his sisters, Kelly Cunningham of Berlin, Germany, and Stacey Roussiat of Sterling, Va.; and numerous other relatives and many friends. Michael Brown
I played tennis with Scott on the Bowie Jr. High team. He was an amazing player. Perhaps even a bit of a prodigy. His confidence on the court was sometimes misunderstood off the court. We drifted apart and didn't interact much at Permian, and not at all after. It saddened me to see that he was no longer with us, and even though I hadn't seen him in close to 40 years, I just wanted to say he is remembered, and will be missed. RIP Scott.
