Keely was one of the most easy going people I've ever known.  She was a great friend and always willing to go along with one of my crazy ideas and help us not get in to too much trouble!  I have so many memories of the time I spent with her and her family.  They always made me feel like I was a member of their family and took me with them on trips, etc.  They meant so much to me when I was a screwed up teenager.  We lost touch over the years, but I am very grateful that we reconnected in the last few years.  She will truly be missed.

I have also been trying to find out what happened to Keely on facebook, but have not found out anything. She was a great friend of mine at Burnet Elementary.

@ Becky, when I think of you, I think of Keely. When I think of Keely, I think of you. I remember how inseparable the two of you were in high school. Good times! I'm really happy for you that you were able to reconnect in the past few years.

Keely battled breast cancer -- and won!  She had completed all her surgeries (three in three weeks) and all the treatment was over and she was deemed cancer free.  She passed away from an aneurysm.  I'm still having a hard time with that.
