I have been in the school business for the last 31 years after graduating from SMU in 1985. This is my 16th year as an assistant principal at Parkhill Junior High in the Richardson School District. Richardson is just north of Dallas. Before that I taught history and coached at Highland Park ISD in Dallas. Yes, the same Highland Park that Permian has defeated twice in the semi-finals in football. My wife, daughter and I live in Murphy which is just east of Plano. Yes, the same Plano that has defeated Permian a couple of too many times in the play-offs! Anyway, we spend a lot of time "junking" and collecting items such as watches, antiques, and vintage stereo equipment. We sell on EBAY as a hobby to finance our junking hobby and enjoy the thrill of the hunt for that million dollar item that is out there somewhere to be found. It's no mystery that Antiques Roadshow is one of our favorite tv shows. Our daughter Peyton is 15 and is playing softball and in the band at McMillen High School here in Murphy. She also plays travel club softball for the National AXE organization. She will eventually go to Plano East High School as a Junior and Senior. We have a great life and are truly blessed in many ways.
