Leslee Ann Hitt

Leslee Ann Hitt of Highland Village, Texas passed away on May 11, 2022. Leslee Ann is survived by her Dad Norman B. Hitt formerly of Odessa, now in Highland Village and her sister Leesa Hitt of Highland Village. She is preceded in death by her Mom Lou Ann Hitt, her maternal grandparents Jesse and Ruth Kirk and her paternal grandparents Basil and Lela Hitt.

Leslee Ann was born February 5, 1963 in Odessa, Texas. She lived briefly in Oklahoma and Florida but always wanted to return to Texas and was elated when she did. She graduated from Permian High School where she was a state qualifying swimmer, attended Odessa College on a debate scholarship, attended the University of Texas at the Permian Basin and graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton. Leslee Ann coached swimming throughout her time in college and had several swimmers move on to college teams and a few that received scholarships, of which she was very proud. Leslee Ann left coaching only to end up running a swim program for Lewisville ISD. They quickly saw her value and moved her to various roles throughout the Community Education department until she was the Director. While she valued all the experiences from swimming, special education, planning community classes and leading the department she knew it was time to move on. She opted to move to finance and began at Edward Jones. She left there and found her home at Fidelity Investments. Throughout the 17 years she was there, she earned countless awards, including the prestigious President's Award but what she truly valued were the relationships. She loved her clients and her coworkers. Leslee Ann developed many great friendships with her coworkers and valued each moment with them. Her clients had so much trust many cried whenever she would receive a promotion. Some happy tears for her and some sad tears she would no longer be with them. It brought her great joy to be able to help so many people. While Leslee Ann thrived in her professional career, what was most important to her was her family.

She spent most of her time off returning to Odessa to spend time with her parents, grandparents and longtime friends. She loved the theater, concerts, sporting events or just about anything with her people.

She was the one that everyone counted on to always be there. Leslee Ann will be missed for her kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness and humor with a little sarcasm mixed in. She always put others before herself and did so many little things to show everyone how much she cared. Her wisdom allowed her to think before she spoke and she always took others thoughts and feelings into consideration. She was truly a diplomat, a scholar, a great friend, an amazing daughter that made her parents extremely proud and the best sister ever. She will never be replaced.

A celebration of her life will be held at Mulkey- Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas on Monday, May 23 at 1:00 pm. Leslee Ann donated to many charities with her favorites being the Heifer Foundation and local food banks. Please choose a charity you love for a donation in lieu of flowers if you like.
